I’m a thirty-something New Yorker (born and raised in the Midwest) who is increasingly and probably unhealthily consumed with his own mortality. I’m hoping to use this blog as an outlet for some of my thoughts, and as a way to reanimate the left side of my brain and get back into the writing habit. I don’t plan on telling anyone aside from my family and friends about it, and i can’t imagine even they will care so much about what’s in it. But I need it, so there you go. Update (2/18/09): For shits and grins, I started a blog site with a couple of friends at dagblog.com, where we discuss politics, entertainment, business, sports, and whatever else pops into our heads. It’s grown pretty nicely in the few months since we launched it. (last alexa rank: 284, 139). come and visit if you get a chance.
