Thanks so much for your in-depth, heartfelt reply, Rico. I must admit one of the things that grates on me a bit about Christianity is that it stresses and encourages evangelizing since saving souls is a pretty good deed (and a pretty big business). But faith is such a personal development that I find attempts to evangelize a bit off-putting. I know I should be more understanding since I know most people mean well and just want to spread the gospel they have embraced. I also agree that it seems like faith without action is pretty meaningless and I've known way too many people who are eager to preach don't 'walk the walk'.

Thanks again for reading.

I enjoy reading your perspective, it is enlightening. I am a Christian and I know everyone has a different version of "truth." I definitely know where you're coming from. At one point of my life I was an atheist. Fast forward, now I teach a Sunday school class where even some of the children struggle with their beliefs. Some have a hard time accepting our "truth" (Christianity). Some of these children are brought to church and do not even want to be there to learn. This is something not in my control, it is out of my hands. The parents believe, some of the kids do not. It is tough. If someone does not believe, I am not going to force them to believe, nor will I mistreat them or argue. It is very simple, one can either believe in something or not believe in it. I think it is meaningless, in most cases, to try to convince someone to believe the same as I, well, I think it's harmful to try to pressure someone to change beliefs. Sure, I could "evangelize" and tell people the gospel, but it is not something easily accepted. Jesus never said everyone would follow him. If someone feels compelled, so be it, then maybe I can step in and give some guidance from my experience or based on scripture. I don't waste my time talking about my beliefs if someone doesn't want to hear about it or does not care about my version of the truth. Some are open to conflicting views, others are so close-minded that you cannot have a conversation. Conflicting views can be talked about, like on here, very professional-like, without angry tirades or trying to silence the other person. I wish more Christians would take it easy and talk calmly instead of walking away or just negatively bashing the other person.

People can be drawn to something without being forced or indoctrinated; seek and you will find, right? Some may disagree with me, but Jesus did not force anyone to follow him, although he already knew who would follow him. Was it not strictly voluntary? We choose what to do, we are not pre-programmed. There's even disbelief in the church and there are plenty of faithless in the church. Some people come just for fun or like it is a social club, while others are there because they do believe in the general perspective of what "truth" is. Some people think "truth" means to mistreat the LGBTQ, which is wrong. I believe everyone needs to be treated with love, dignity, respect, etc. Even those who mistreat us, I have to treat them with kindness, love, etc., but it is difficult, easier said than done. I struggle with what the Bible says that is in conflict with how I have always felt about LGBTQ (meaning, I believe in gay rights, gay marriage, etc.). Having faith makes it easier, but not that easy, at least for me. My parents were Republican, I have always been no party affiliation. My parents were anti-gay, I was pro-gay, and now I'm trying to figure out what I need to believe about LGBTQ because my personal view is in opposition with doctrine. I know what I'm supposed to believe and what the Bible says is "right" and I still feel I can't let go of my personal view.

A friend of mine went to seminary and came out a different man. He supposedly knew the Christian "truth" yet would look down on all of the rest of the church and he became very prideful. It hurt because this guy knew the general Christian "truth" prior to seminary, and afterward became arrogant about this new "truth" he'd discovered. Every time he would visit the church he became so condescending to the rest of us "peasants" from church that he would nitpick every single little thing we said unless it was in agreement with his version of the truth. For those of us who believe in the messiah, Jesus did not act like that, Jesus did not teach like that, it was backwards to see my friend act the way he did. So even with "faith" there are many issues. Faith is great, but then there's also doing. I need to act and react, not just believe. To ONLY have faith (or only believe) is a mistake... it is how we carry ourselves through life, how we live, what we do, all of that which makes us who we are. We have to take actions and do something meaningful with our lives. Okay, we have different beliefs or faiths, and you described the faithless. That doesn't stop us from having a heart and doing positive things for humanity, being productive, and many other things. We have to make this imperfect world a better place for our future, for our children, etc., even if our beliefs or "truth" is not the same.

Love the way you hook up the quick desert with the stabwrerry, wafers and reddi-whip, I will be using that really soon. I use it in many ways but my favorite is to slice a piece of sponge cake in a layer and spread reddi- wip in between and on top and finish with sliced or crushed pineapple on top of my sponge cake-yummy!!

The alternative is for Germany to rerevt to the deutsche mark. That would immediately result in appreciation of the German currency and competitive devaluation of the euro for the remaining eurozone countries. Germany would tend to buy more while selling less, and vice versa for the rest of the eurozone. The extra consumption that Germany will not deliver via stimulus policies would be automatically delivered by currency revaluation. The single most essential element of a euro rescue has always been one form or another of a euro bond guaranteed jointly by all eurozone member countries. What the U.S. Treasury bond is to the U.S. economy, the euro bond would be to the EU. The main obstacle has been Germany's insistence that it would not guarantee payments on bonds for the benefit of other European countries.German reversion to the deutsche mark would remove this obstacle, and with no further German opposition, the remainder of the eurozone could move ahead to establish a true euro bond, along with a unified treasury function to match the unified banking function of the European Central Bank. Some may object that German backing would still be required for the eurozone and a euro bond to be viable. That is correct, and Germany would indeed remain committed to the eurozone for a number of reasons. It would need the eurozone more than ever to buy its increasingly expensive exports. The Bundesbank (Germany's central bank) would undoubtedly sell deutsche marks against euros to mitigate appreciation, and the resulting accumulation of euros would be invested in the new euro bonds. This in turn might inspire the European Central Bank to initiate quantitative easing programs that would stimulate the entire EU economy. The cost to Germany of saving Europe will be a hit to exports and perhaps a temporary rise in unemployment, but a return to the deutsche mark would attract a flood of capital to Germany and thereby spur investment while holding interest rates and inflation down. The real question is whether the cost of slower export growth and increased unemployment is less than that of paying for Greece, then Spain, etc. Somehow, the "unknown" risks of a German exit from the euro appear more manageable, more quantifiable and in some ways more familiar a challenge than endless austerity, social unrest and political polarization.Υ.Γ παρακαλώ έναν {σοφό} πολιτικό της Ελλάδος της δημοσιογραφίας έχει να μου απαντήσει τίποτα!!!
Really good eye serums/creams for cerilcs and puffiness?Well I've barely gotten into the game for eye creams and serums since I would only really focus on my acne for my skin. Luckily Philosophy products came in and have that under control so now I started focusing on other parts: my eye area being one of them.I have moderately bad dark cerilcs under my eyes, along with quite a bit of puffiness going on. My work place happened to be generous in giving us Orlane Pure Youth for eyes in our new year's goody bags. I've tried it for a week, but it really hasn't improved much. Just goes to show that even expensive creams can do a mediocre job.I've tried looking around to see what people swear by, what really works for people other than surgery. Unfortunately I have not come up with any clear answers as all I come up with are websites with fake reviews to get you to buy their serum. So I was wondering, what are good eye creams that take care of the dark cerilcs and puffiness. What do you swear by or have heard really good things about? Money isn't a top priority when it comes to choosing for me (unless it goes into the $1000+ range). I just need something that works! Thanks!

Really good eye serums/creams for cerilcs and puffiness?Well I’ve barely gotten into the game for eye creams and serums since I would only really focus on my acne for my skin. Luckily Philosophy products came in and have that under control so now I started focusing on other parts: my eye area being one of them.I have moderately bad dark cerilcs under my eyes, along with quite a bit of puffiness going on. My work place happened to be generous in giving us Orlane Pure Youth for eyes in our new year’s goody bags. I’ve tried it for a week, but it really hasn’t improved much. Just goes to show that even expensive creams can do a mediocre job.I’ve tried looking around to see what people swear by, what really works for people other than surgery. Unfortunately I have not come up with any clear answers as all I come up with are websites with fake reviews to get you to buy their serum. So I was wondering, what are good eye creams that take care of the dark cerilcs and puffiness.
